I requested an odd row when I made my reservation, and they said they would note the request and try to honor it. We did end up with an odd row, and the view was great. The CM didn't act at all like it was out if the ordinary to make the request, so I would definitely recommend asking. It can't hurt!

Also, I believe the seats are pre-assigned, as the paper we got at check-in already had our seat assignments on it.

I don't have a pic from our May trip but I do have a question! We had an awesome time on our cruise in May. We were on the opposite side for fireworks but it was still a great view. I'm stalking the weather channel app for our trip next week and it's saying 70% chance of rain : ( It's still 8 days out so it might change but... What if it doesn't? How often do they cancel wishes? The cruise? Are you giving a chance to rebook? (Though I don't see how when they were all sold out the other dates that week I tried) or do they just refund your money... Anyone have experience with this?

No first hand experience but I was told that if they (Disney) has to cancel then you will get a full refund.

When my family did this we were on the opposite side from the fireworks. While we could see just fine, DH who was very excited about making pictures, could not get the photos he wanted. Too many heads and bodies in the way. It was fun and we enjoyed the evening, but you may not get the pictures you want if you are on the "other" side. I was told when I booked that the captain would turn the boat so everyone would have an opportunity to be on the "right" side. He did not.

They almost never cancel Wishes, but they could cancel the cruise for lightning. I would think you woulds get a refund. And I would say at this time of the year there is always a 70% chance of showers at a given time in Florida.
