Pirates of the Caribbean - On Stranger Tides - anyone else incredibly excited !!

I loved it!
Couldn't stay to see the bits after the credits but that will give me something to look forward to when the DVD comes out.
I seriously do not know why it's getting poor reviews - it's a good film and beautifully shot.
3D doesn't add much but I liked the locations and the underwater scenes.

It's our 13th wedding anniversary today so we went to see the 2d version of it, the additonal characters were good but I definitely missed Will Turner and Elizabeth Swan and the chemistry they all had together.

I tried to stay to the end credits but had to rush off to the loo, DH stayed behind and refuses to tell me what he saw but confirmed something of about 15 seconds appeared so if someone can PM me to let me know i'd be grateful.

I'm a fan of Pirates so can't wait until the DVD comes out.

I went to see it yesterday, and I thought it was great. I really liked the new characters and didn't really miss Will or Elizabeth. It wasn't as funny as the first one, but I thought it was better than the 2nd and 3rd films

I can't wait for it to come out on DVD

Seen the film this afternoon and thought it was really good, much better than 3rd one. Worth going to see.

What a big pile of 'meh'! Thankfully it wasn't as awful as the third but it was nowhere near as good as the first! That's not to say it was bad, it wasn't great

I was in the Disney store on Saturday and asked the CM if he knew when the new Tinkerbell that is being advertised on the Cindy DVD will be out.

Looking down his list he didn't spot the tink listing at first but did tell us that the "Pirates 5" will be out in July 2013!!!
He didn't have a date for when pirates 4 will be on DVD though.

Oh and for anyone interested the new Tink film will be out in 2012!! And yes thay are advertising it now on the Cindy royal edition DVD!!

I had another date with Capt Jack last night ... loved it more the second time around and way better in 2D. Hopefully the next time we see it we will be on the Disney Magic !!

Just remembered I hadn't posted on here we saw this last week and it helped relieve the depression (a little) from having to come home from Disneyland Paris. Thought it was great fun. I was never overly keen on Will and Elizabeth anyway so didn't really miss them at all, but thought Penelope Cruz made for a great pirate. We ummed and ahhed about seeing it in 3D or 2D and went for 3D in the end as I believe this is the first film where 3D cameras have actually been taken out on location. Thought they added great depth to the water scenes but I don't think anyone will actually miss out by choosing to see it in 2D.

All in all a great film and I look forward to numbers 5 and 6.

I saw it a couple of weeks back (day after it opened I think), we went really early in the morning (9.30am is early for me on a Saturday!), and there were only 4 other people.

I really liked it, but oh my goodness, so many rude jokes!!! I know most of the kids wouldn't have got them, but some of them made me blush! (Especially when said by sexy Capt' Jack)

I did think it was much better than 2 or 3, but couldn't beat the first.
