How is the line already too long? I searched for it right away. PS. there is some member with the same name as Phinny's room. I am getting tired of people doing that!!!

I know what you mean! How infuriating that the instant the game is up, it's full. And the person with the same named room, if you are on the DIS, you, well, I can't say it here!

It's a quest. It is 23 tasks and so far it's just finding gems in different areas. Prizes go from just credits to Inferno. Prizes awarded to the best 100 times.

I wait until a few minutes before the event is schedule to start and then I log into VMK (or logout then log back in if I am already on). Then, I search for some word in the room name. I click search over and over until the room shows up. Then, I quckly click to enter the room. This time I ended up at number 39 in line. With the fresh login and good jump on the line I can usually get in a staff event and out before I dc.

I can't take credit for the method though. I read it here on the DIS.

Frustrating indeed! I've been trying also for the past half hour just to get in line! Isn't it a quest room? Seems like people should just start the quest and leave, right? So, why is it taking so long to get in?

i usualy log out and back into vmk before an event and then i dont dc for a while sometime lol

I got into line after about 35 minutes of clicking. I got to about task 14, and dc'd. Now I can't log onto VMK. BSOD.

Finally got in line! But, it is slow moving! I just hope I don't DC before I get in the room.

Help! I can't find the gem in Castle Gallery

OMG I am so mad! I just got the boot from Host Phinny! I had started the quest and began searching for the first gem in her room...I even told her that I was doing so. Then she said to the people in the room that they needed to start the quest and then move on so others can enter the room. I couldn't find the first gem!!!!! She should NOT have made the first task to find a gem in HER ROOM (isn't that the tip that VMK tells Quest owners???).

I am stunned and totally disillusioned with Host games now. How RUDE!!!!

EDIT: Ok, moments over -- ill feelings toward Host Phinny have passed .

The first gem is not in her room. Look at the picture in the clue.

There are a few others in anoter thread that also had this problem. I wonder what is going on. If they have a problem with people being in the rooms, maybe they should have more than one room for each host activity. Duh. That seems like an obvious solution.

a) You have to leave her room to find the first gem (it's on Discovery Island)

b) You have to leave her room so other people can get in.

Remember there are people in line that are getting DC while you are looking for a gem that isn't even there. When I was in there she was telling everyone to start the quest and then leave. She's just thinking about the other people waiting to get in.
