There are a ton of adults without children !! A couple on the boat with us the other night ( we went on the 5th) were celebrating their 38th wedding anniversary

It's an absolute must do for us !! We DO have kids, but even if we didn't , we would go!

If Wishes is at 8 when I go, and they say it starts 1:15 before the fireworks, that's 6:45 and they want you to arrive 10 minutes early, then am I pushing it to plan dinner in DTD at 4:30 or 5:00? Could we still use the bus or would we be better off taking a cab?

I would say you'd never make it. If you aren't eating at DTD until 5:00 that only leaves an hour and a half to get back to the Contemporary, including eating, travel, and finding the right place inside the Contemporary. There would be absolutely no room for ANY delays. Probably better choosing a meal at the Contemporary or other monorail resort prior to the cruise. Remember the rule of thumb when depending on Disney transportation is to allow at least an hour in travel time before a reservation just to be safe.

Anyone have any input on if its just too cold on the water in January for this to be enjoyable?

Boats go out as long as the temp is above 45. Blankets are provided when the temps fall between 45 - 55. Dress warmly, wear gloves. Final meet and greet is held indoors if the temp is below 55.

BTW - an earlier post said you can meet PP without going on the cruise. This is not true. The line is monitored and only P & P guests are allowed to meet with PP

We (10 of us) fly in from Michigan in late Jan. Due to arrive in FL at 11am. Is it still to risky (weather-wise/timing wise) to book it for that evening? It would be a perfect relaxing evening activity on arrival day.
