We will be going to Pirate & Princess Party in March 2008. Tentatively we've booked Ohana at 5:30pm for dinner (we are on DDP), hopefully we will be done and arrive MK before 7pm. Wondering if we should cancel the 5:30pm dinner and find a TS restaurant in MK.

I've read that we are allowed to enter MK after 4:00PM. I heard that most CS will be closed or have very limited choices for dinner during P&P Party.

Any comments?

i called today about the 4pm entry and they say it is not gauranteed, it depends on how busy the park is that day and how many tickets sold :confused3 i think i would keep your reservations as it isn't far by monorail. You should be good to get there around 7pm

We had dinner at Kona the night of the party we went to, and that worked out really well. Got to the party about 7:30, and there were no lines at the gate or anything, probably because everyone else wanted to maximize their park time by getting there earlier. It is just a short monorail hop from the Poly to the MK, and I think it is less crazy than trying to have dinner in the park during the party.

Next trip, we have an early ADR at Narcoosees and we'll get to the party around 7-7:30.

We tend to eat earlier on party nights. We like to be in the park well before the party starts at 7. For MVMCP next week I have a 4:00 ressie at 1900 Park Fair. For the P&P in February, we have a 4:30 ressie at the Crystal Palace.

The only thing i am concerned about is the CM that i spoke to on the phone said they may not be letting people in at 4pm. It all depends on the crowds i was told that day. I would hate to have an early reservation only to find out i will need to use a park admission ticket just to get in. We had originally had CP but after speaking to her, we made a 5:30 Chef Mickey's instead. that way we will be back at the park around 7 or shortly after. I agree about arriving around 7:30, friends did last winter and they said there were only a few people in line at 7:45

I think you will have plenty of time to get there by monorail with that ressie. I would'nt change a thing. And it's nice to have the lines down a bit if you do arrive 5-10 mins after they open. :)

We had dinner at San Angel Inn (kids love it) in August and took the Monorail over and were there in plenty of time for everything. I think we got there at 730ish and most non-P&P folks were out or heading out...
