Our family has done the Pin Trading thing for a few trips and loves it. Our friends on the other hand have NOT. We helped them get lanyards and traders BEFORE we left so they were all set! In a matter of 10 minutes at DD all 5 of them were seriously addicted! We created MONSTERS!!

You know how when you walk in a large group, SOMEONE is in front of you? Well the boys in our circus have started this thing where you kick the persons underside of their shoe, trying to throw them off balance! They only do it to people in our group, but it is CONTINUOUS!! Does someone have to fall and bust their head open before they stop this? I fuss; they look at me and laugh! Stopping it until they are out of my sight. It is a miracle that we have made it this far without serious consequences.
We spent the evening at Universals City Walk. The kids were a bit disappointed that the water fountains that you can run through were closed, but the adults were VERY excited at the glowing margarita glasses!! Who needed bouncing water when you have glow in the dark drinks?
Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville is one of our favorite meals! The Cheeseburgers in Paradise are to DIE FOR!! The balloon animal people on stilts are great and our waitress was delightful! All the while I am sitting there watching my family and friends beam with excitement, thinking THIS is going to be the most fantastic trip!!
We headed back to the condo after much excitement and crashed. I fell asleep in the bed that banged against the wall when you simply turned over or pulled your cover up knowing I had a secret for the next morning!! Thinking and giggles to myself, bang away Mr.Bed I am back!!! Back at Disney where I belong. Nothing can ruin my mood! Make note here NEVER say NEVER and NEVER say NOTHING..they both come back to bite ya in the butt!
:happy1:
Yeah!! Today is the day! I have neglected (ok, purposely AVOIDED) to tell the kids that we have a PS a Cinderellas Royal Table for 9:30am and I was about to bust with my secret. I hopped out of bed, only to find ALL OF THEM awake!! Imagine that. The first day at Disney and they are excited as I am. God, I love these kids!
I call all the critters into the den and the crew of kids & I give the Pirate a Disney box (this is a box that I have hauled from home, under the pretense that it is a gift for Pirate). We give it to him happily; he opens it and finds a Snow White evening dress!! Size 5. Where Princess Erin exclaims quite loudly .. HEYYYYY its a dress for me!!! And takes it back almost immediately. Poor Pirate, I will have to give him something else later that he can keep. He puts up with my harebrained methods of operations!
The older kids get that "oh my goodness" look on their faces!! Cell Phone Charlie stares over at me, with his arms crossed and says Mom you DIDNT get what I think you did ..did you??? I smile and nod smugly and the crowd goes wild with excitement! The floor shakes as they jump up and down!! Thank goodness Commander Brad and Val are beneath us or I am sure with all the whooping and hollering we would be thrown out of the condo!
We are off to Magic Kingdom!!!
Ok, it is harder to get 11 people out the door and into the cars than I thought. Minor problem, but we can solve it!! We open the doors, holler we are leaving and pick and car. I WAS WRONG!! Who is going to ride with whom on this trip is going to be the death of me. Just pick a car good grief!! They are BOTH GOING to the SAME place. The kids finally decide which car to ride in, by what movie is playing in what car..lol One car has Holes, the other has Nemo!! JUST PICK A CAR!!!!!
