Pirate Night for Late Seatings???

Ok I understand the idea behind Pirate night pretty well know. But what I don't understand is do they have the party twice once for ealy seating and then for second seating or do the late seatings get some what ripped of on the deck party. Anyone with knowledge on this I would love the feedback

The party doesnt start untill 9:45pm deck 9/10 midship. We had late dinning and didnt miss the party!!!

I was just trying to find my Navigator, but out of 7 nights, that's the only one I couldn't find. My family had the late seating, however, and we saw all of the deck party. It didn't get into full swing until about 10:00. The fireworks,(Magic only for now) weren't until 11:00 or so...along with a midnight buffet.
