Okay, there is a new pirates league where your kid can get dressed up and makeup like a pirate. Saw the coolest pics posted and such but no prices. How expensive is it? Would you do it?

We are doing the captains package for our boys in Sept. I think it is $125 each. This one includes the costume, which we figure they will wear for Halloween since they are soooo into pirates right now.

The package without a costume is $50 which is comparable to the price at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique where they do the princess makeovers. My DD is going to do this in August because she feels too old for princesses now. I'm going to pick up a costume at Party City for $20 for her to wear which is the same thing that I did when she did the princess makeover.

How did you get anything free at Disney?? That's almost an oxymoron.... details please!! :goodvibes

Seriously, we had just gotten off the Pirates ride and was in the gift shop (which is connected) and one of the cast members came up to my dh and asked if he and both of the ds wanted to become pirates. My little ds didn't want to do it after going in but both my oldest ds and dh took the oath, got pirate names and then sat down in the chairs and picked out which "face" they wanted and that was it. It was free expect for the fact that we did tip them since it was free. I really think since they just opened, they are trying to get some business. I never thought we would get ANYTHING FOR FREE at Disney but I guess there is always a FIRST...LOL

Can anybody tell me how to post pictures and I would be more than happy to post the pics from both my ds and dh..

As requested, here are a few pictures of my dh and ds from last week when they had their face painted at the Pirate League for FREE.

Great pictures!!! Now definately have to consider it for my son on our Sept. trip.

My son and youngest dd are going to do this during our trip in September. I will probably just do the $50 package for both kids, unless ds really wants the pirate costume (I figure we could always use it for Halloween). We are also going on the Pirates and Pals Wishes cruise that night which should be fun.

We were just there on the July 12th! It was my son's b-day and we were in line to get our pics with Captain Hook and Smee...my son was "sword fighting" with Captain Hook and then when we went to take our pictures...we all put on eye patches pirate:I had picked up at the the dollar store. The CM thought it was so cute and noticed it was my son's b-day. He gave us a free pass to have my DS4's make-up done. The pirate girl pirate: who did his make-up was awesome and she even did my DD6's for free as well!!! They even got pirate pirate: names and signed their names in the pirate pirate: book and received these awesome certificates signed by Jack Sparrow with their Pirate pirate: names on them!!! It was all too cool!!! :woohoo: Just a little Disney Magic!!!:wizard:
