Pirate and Princess party

I bought the event CD for the MNSSHP music and this was on it too.
I looked it up and it was a party from 2007-2009. Was it not popular?
The music was fun and I bet my son would love it!
Would be fun to have something like that again.

I think they cancelled the 2009 ones, after announcing them. The one we went to in June 2008 may have been the last one ever

We thought it was a great party and were sad to see it not return. It had an awesome parade. We've been to MNSSHP, and didn't enjoy it nearly as much.

I thought I read that they cancelled them because it wasn't increasing overall attendance the way the fall parties do. But who knows. Sure wish they would bring it back!

We were at the P&PP once in 07 and twice in 08, including that same party in June that turned out to be the last one. It was a great event that I would do again in a heartbeat. None of the parties we attended seemed to be to low on attendance, but were quite manageable. My guess is that a "manageable" level to me means there wasn't enough attendance for Disney to be happy. I know the line for Captain Jack was crazy long at each of the parties we attended.

I would love it if this came back. I would probably schedule a special trip just to do it. But alas, it's not coming back.

I took my girls to the first one when I worked @ DRC. We had a "sneak peak" event and they absolutlely loved it.....they were 6 and 4 at the time. It's a shame it was so short lived. We were marketing it heavily @ DRC but for whatever reason Disney pulled the plug on it :-(
