Pirate and Princess Party

Well, I know I'm going and it's just a group of adults.

I just found out about it myself, but I've heard about more Pirate shows, a dance party and some other stuff. I'm sure someone else can do a better job of explaining this than I can. :p

I'm going and I'm a solo-adult. The trip's a birthday present to myself. But I'm not really sure what to expect.

Here's what a do know.

It's a hard-ticket event like MNSSHP and MVMCP, and there's a special parade and fireworks, with special character meet and greets. As well as some kind of treasure hunt thing, which my best guess will be similar to the trick-or-treating at MNSSHP.

:rotfl2: Pirate and Princess party? Have you seen the movie? :lmao: Do you know what will happen to those poor Princesses when those pirates get their hands on them?!?!?!?!

Well, if we're talking about Capt. Jack Sparrow, then I'll be buying myself a Princess dress and attending all nights! :rotfl:

We just started planning a trip in January, so I'm excited to read about this Pirate & Princess Party! :thumbsup2

I think we may be attending, too & we'd just be 2 adults attending. :teeth:

Can't wait to hear more about it! pirate: princess:

Lynn,

Here is the number (407) W-DISNEY (934-7639) for tickets. Also be sure to make ADR's for either Tony's or Liberty Tree Tavern (the 2 restaurants open for the party other then counter service) for which ever night you are going if you would like to have a TS dinner before the party. LTT is a character meal and have heard they will be dressing for the party theme.

I will be attending January 26th and made ADR at LTT.

How long is this event going on for? Just wondering if it will be there next fall. :confused3

You can also buy the tickets online through disneyworld.com. I ordered ours for 2/23 that way and got them within 5 days. My kids are all fired up about it! I can't wait to hear the first reports.

Currently scheduled 1/22-3/8 (not every night tho, check here: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/pirateprincess-party.htm)

Although it is not explicitly advertised as such, this is basically a Disneyfied version of Universal's Mardi Gras (which is a good thing), and I think the dates are roughly comparable to Mardi Gras.
