Pirate adventures

Has anyone done the pirate cruise for kids 4-12 from the contemporary? And has anyone done the pirate cruise at night with firework show? I'd love some info before booking. Thx!

We did the pirates fireworks cruise 2 years ago. Our group of adults and children all enjoyed it. For us the highlights were the characters and the pirate that goes on the boat with you, Patch I think his name was? He was very entertaining and kept up a steady stream of jokes and banter. It was a great vantage point for fireworks and the electrical water pageant. We thought it was completely worth the time and money and would love to do it again.

We did the Pirate Adventure with our oldest 2. The people who did the cruise were great with the kids. My son has moderate autism, so he can be a challenge, but he had a great time, and the adults leading the cruise were great. The other kids, however, were pretty terrible to my son, and it ruined my older daughter's trip. My son didn't notice, but my daughter said the other kids were screaming at him the whole time and by the end of the trip refused to sit near him. He misses a lot of social cues, and kids can be mean. So, it is what it is, an unfortunately, that's life for him a lot of the time.

We will probably do it again with the middle 2, and we'll see how it goes. The adventure itself is cute, and like I said, my son had a blast and loved his treasure.

My kids did the Pirate Adventure Cruise, which leaves from the GF, not the Contemporary. It is during the morning, and the kids (4-12) go without their parents.

The Pirate Fireworks Cruise leaves from the Contemporary, and kids must be accompanied by adults.

My kids loved the Adventure Cruise. My 4-year-old was scared initially to leave us, but she ended up loving it.
