So sorry to hear Piper is having an extended stay in the hospital. The girls (especially Alayna) often ask about her.

While we were choosing a few things to send... The girls were pretty sure of themselves and "KNEW" piper would just love them.

Just a quick update! Piper's O2 is down to a half liter..hooray! So the drugs are definitely starting to make a good impact. It's pretty quiet around here on the weekends, which is a ncie change. Gram and my db are coming to visit today and bringing whatever mail we've gotten with them. I'll try to update tonight or tomorrow, and if Gram brings her laptop I may be able to get some pics uploaded as well. I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! Piper is still as energetic as ever, she was up at 7 and ready to go! They don't deliver the e-cards on weekends, so tomorrow should be interesting! LOL. Thank you all so much for the continued prayers and positive thoughts.

Good morning all! Just a quickie update : Piper is off the O2 and satting at 94-95..hooray! We had a nice visit with Gram and db and my niece yesterday! Piper was very excited to see her cousin, annnnd the 2 big give packages that came with them! We had one from AlternateEgo (Crystal and family) and one from castledreams (Cheryl) I took lots of pictures, but Gram did not bring her laptop, so they're stuck on my camera for now. Booooo! Would you all like me to tell you about the packages without the pictures, or would you rather wait til I have the pictures uploaded to go with them? If we wait I thought it might be fun to do a daily Big Give post when we get out since we'll only have about 20(!!!!) days left when we get home, but it's up to you guys! The packages really are brightening her days!

We also got a phone call this morning from Liesa!! (All7ofus) It was great speaking with her and Piper was totally excited when she realized she was talking to someone that's in another country! I told her we'd get the teacher to bring in a map this am so she can see where Blank-a-stan is. Liesa also gave me the last couple of clues from her PTR ADR game that I'd missed, which will keep me occupied for a while Thank you again, Liesa!

Okay, I'll try to check in later on tonight to see what you guys would like as far as the Big Give updates! I hope everyone has a great day!

Glad to hear about the family visit, the big give packages, and the telephone call. All that makes time in the hospital so much easier! Since she's doing so well without O2, any chance they'll let her come home earlier? I mean, I know she's on the new antibiotic, but if she's responding well, will they consider an earlier discharge? Don't they know that you need to be planning and packing?!?!

I am SOOOO glad that she's doing better! Can't wait to see the pictures!
