I asked Liesa (All7ofUs) and she agreed I should call Amanda - so I did!

They ARE in Club Med (the hospital).

Piper has grown a culture with Pseudomonas aeruginosa which is a new bacterial infection for her. They are not treating her for it yet, as they are trying to find the right antibiotic that would be able to treat it.

Amanda thinks this will probably be a long admission.

Amanda said she has access to a family computer, but people are usually on it...so she may not be able to get on much. But that I can call and update you guys.

PS: Piper is in isolation because of her infection...which means she can't go to the Playroom and is basically stuck in her room all day. And when people come in there, I imagine they have to get all "gowned up" - put a gown on and mask and gloves... It is a lonely place when you are stuck in a room for days on end and the only contact you have with people is through a mask and gloves, etc. So please send her e-cards. They will mean a lot to her.

PM for her last name (if you don't have it) and let's shower her with cards.
