Oh geez..they would be like two peas in a pod..Disney is the main subject of conversation in our house lately, and she would love it. Not to mention the fact her mouth needs a speed limit, she talks all the time anyway! Tell Jake if he really wants to thrill her to put a pic of himself in the card too.. she would be ALL over that seeing how she thinks he's the bee's knees! :lmao: I can just see her now hauling it around and talking about her online boyfriend!! :rotfl2:

Mini Update..Ms. Piper was unable to go on the board today because she took too long doing her homework! On a positive note though, we went to my bro's this afternoon and she and my niece had a good time playing Wii together for a couple of hours!

Cute, cute, cute! You'll be the best dressed princess in the joint!!

We love the Wii too! Its a fun system and you mostly get exercise too! I love watching the kids box and play tennis!

So what does an 8 yr old girl do when she's stuck at home all day, and only has to do schoolwork for about 2 hrs in that time? Well, if her name is Piper she reads..and what's the best type of thing to read? Our new Passporter Guide to WDW of course!! MAGICFOR2, Tammie had asked me a month or so ago if we would enjoy having one, and the obvious answer was a resounding YES! Note the evidence.....

It came in yesterday, and I did pm Tammie right away, but my camera batteries were down, so I wanted to wait until I could post pictures with the update! I've already read it cover to cover (for the first time of what will prob be many), and Piper is about 1/3 of the way through. The information is so wonderful, everything from attractions to restaurants, including approximate costs, and even folders and a place to make notes each day!

Thank you so much Tammie, and please rest assured it will be put to good use!

OMG....:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Piper and Jake would be the PERFECT couple...:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: This is what Jake does ALL the time..I love it:rotfl::rotfl:

Piper and Jake, now that would be something!:goodvibes

Wouldn't it though??

We love the Wii too! Its a fun system and you mostly get exercise too! I love watching the kids box and play tennis!

I was doing really well with it for a while and I've slacked off since I got envelopes in! It's going to give me all kinds of grief when I go back on! :lmao:

I know!! It's too bad you guys weren't going about two weeks or so later! Although you and I might be ready to duct tape over their mouths after about an hour of listening to it! :rotfl:

Mini Update!

I apologize that Piper still hasn't gotten back on, between homework and other things, she's been too busy! We ended up at my Moms for about 5 hrs tonight..went to get Gram's skype(!!) set up for her, then she asked us to stay for dinner, and had made gingerbread..yummm!

So we have the Drs appt rescheduled for tomorrow at 2:30, again, possible admission depending on her numbers, but I'm hoping we won't have to go that route, then we're meeting a trainer from the company that makes her NEW vest!! Hooray! It's called an InCourage vest system, and is supposed to be 20% more effective at airway clearance because it uses a totally different type of waveform. The company that makes Piper's current vest sold out to Hill-Rom a few years ago, and since then the quality has gone downhill with both the machine itself, and the tubes..they constantly pop off the vest, and both tubes are coming apart after less than 6 months of use. They're great about replacing things, and we don't pay for the replacements, but why keep replacing the same junky parts that keep breaking, kwim? So we're excited to get the new machine tomorrow! I had no idea it would happen this quickly, the Drs office told us to expect it to take 2-4 months, and it's been less than a month..for once Medicaid came through!! Of course, they didn't pay for the first one, which also makes a difference..lol. I'll try to get on and let everyone know what's going on one way or another by tomorrow night. Keep your fingers crossed that Jeepie doesn't break down this time!!!

Fingers crossed for no problems with the Jeep and Ill be praying that theres no admission for Piper!

Tell Piper we're praying for her and no admissions!!! Aleks told me to tell her goodnight too!:goodvibes

I am so glad that you are getting the new vest!

And CONGRATS on getting Medicaid to approve it that fast! We are STILL waiting for them to approve Lauren's stuff.

I am praying for you guys tomorrow, that the doctors will make wise decisions and that she will feel much better very soon! :goodvibes

I don't think I could work out on a machine that knew how long I'd been gone.

Hurray for the new vest! Poor quality is a waste of your time, even if it didn't cost you any money.

Good luck with the doctor's appointment! Keeping my fingers crossed for no admission. Pack your bags. That sometimes keep us from getting admitted. If we don't have a bag packed, we're pretty much guaranteed inpatient status. :rotfl:

Please let me know how you like the InCourage vest. We're still doing manual percussion with Aidan four times a day. Aidan goes to the pulmonologist again on Feb. 1, so I'm going to see if we might be candidates for a vest. I'd love to hear what you guys think about it. Your view and Piper's.

I'll be looking for your update tomorrow!

Thank you, Maroo  I was amazed..the gov't never works that quickly! :rotfl:

I'd only skipped a day or two before, it's been 4 days at least..it's going to give me a hard time, I'm sure!

It is a waste of time..when the second actual machine broke down within 6 months (2 machines in that time period) I was done!

:yay: Congrats on getting the new vest and I'll be keeping Piper in my thoughts tomorrow for no admin.

Thank you, Jennifer!

Thank you! I never unpacked the last bags so I could just throw them in the jeep ;) I'll let you know about the InCourage..we loved her old Vest until they sold out..we had it for 6 yrs, replaced the tubes maybe twice..it broke this past summer, and we've gone through two of the new units and prob 3 sets of tubes since June. Not to mention they "revamped" the tubes and they pop off all the time and crack way too easily. Apparently the new vest, because it is so effective, takes a lot less time. This helps us a lot as her treatments have gone up to 90 minutes a pop with the new neb added in..and we're doing 4 treatments a day while she's sick!! Now you guys know why I have no social life..LOL!

prayers for no hospital time!:goodvibes

Thank you, Cherie

tell dr piper I hope she doesn't have to admit herself to the hospital tomorrow.

Thank you, Jordan  she'll crack up when she sees that in the am!
