CF or no, bedtime is a GREAT time!!![]()
Is that a line in a song? If not it should be, because I feel like singing it!!!

I was thinking about writing a musical. About kids and bedtimes.
I would have to plagerize Handel though; and there would be too many halelujah choruses.
Heey! No fair having all the fun convo without me, you two!! lol. I'm getting ready to have fun of my own..Alabaster is going to toilet paper the living room and hang balloons tonight! And yes...the evening has been blissful since about..ohh..9:00. Speaking of which..how are your girls, Melissa?
Very FUN!! I went TPing as a kid- a lot!
The big walnut trees were best! We also did crank-calling, ding-dong ditch 'em, and midnight skinny dipping in the pool.
I don't recommend any of those though.![]()
TP'ing your own house. Now that's a first for me! Sounds fun!
They both seem to be on the mend, but have shared "it" with me. Not pink eye, the other nameless crud. Hoping I heal as quickly as they seem to be...
Nah, it'd be refreshing!![]()
For some reason this reminded me of that scene in Polar Express where they are served "refreshment".
Are you in need of refreshment??
I'm personally dreaming of a refreshing refreshment of an icy mint julep on my balcony at POR in Sept!!!
Hi there!
I too came over from Jordan's PTR.
You are an incredible Mother and Piper is just adorable!
You are both in my thoughts and prayers.
Tracy
I learned as a child of a single parent....the kids are a great resource for weeding out the jerks really fast.I like being single too..I've actually had two relatively serious relationships since the divorce, both over a yr..but neither was interested (if that's the right word) enough in having a relationship with Piper for me to pursue it any further. Any man in my life needs to want her in his life as well. I figure if it happens, it happens, and if it doesn't, that's fine too. I do enjoy us being by ourselves, and to be honest I don't know if I could stand having a man in the house 24/7 anyway!!
I found with my DH when taking care of the kids....you have to take the good with the bad. That's what my DH always says! I actually believe him though because nothing he's made has fallen apart, yet. That is one of his talents, though, and has built incredible things from scratch. But all things come with a trade-off. He let me take a nap this morning while he slept on the couch, I mean, watched the kids. I found blueberry poptarts in chunks and smudges all over the couch, blankets, desk, keyboard and floor....
A song all parents can relate to.Is that a line in a song? If not it should be, because I feel like singing it!!!
The best one is when one of your girlfriends is turning 50 and you string HUGE bras all over the lawn, trees, bushes, then post on the garage door..."It's -------- 50th Birthday! She Needs All The Support She Can Get!"Very FUN!! I went TPing as a kid- a lot!

I'm so sorry your feeling icky, praying you feel better quickly. We are BIG on vitamin D3 in our house, I highly recommend it since you've got one in public school (my mom said she was never more sick then when we kids first started school). I don't know if you can give it to your oldest (I'm sure you'll check with the doc on this), but everyone else can take it. It will boost your immune system big time, even better than vitamin C. We take it through the week and then weekends off. I buy ours in a liquid juice like form from Costco. Love it! I don't do flu shots (and no I won't tell anyone who gets them they're a horrible person, we all have to do what we feel is best for ourselves and familyTP'ing your own house. Now that's a first for me! Sounds fun!

That's right! You can't drink over there, can you?I'm personally dreaming of a refreshing refreshment of an icy mint julep on my balcony at POR in Sept!!!
