Pins

Our kids always asked the CM's they traded with if they could keep their pin backs. This was never a problem with any of the CM's. I felt our pins were new and our backs were still tight whereas some of the pins on the CM's lanyards were old and some of the backs were stretched out or they had those little gold backs which I don't think stay on as tight. But I'd definetely ask to keep your own pin back durring a trade.

I just keep our pin backs in my hand when DD is trading the CM like that as well.

I have some older Disney pins that have the longer straight pin and clasp type of closure, more like a jewelry brooch, rather than the short stub and rubber backing they use now. I can still trade those, can't I?

Steve,

If they are pins like Pin Pics #1189, you should be able to trade them no problem. Some of these older pins not only have the stick backs but are not ©Disney on the back.

Yep, those are the kind I mean. They are copyright Disney. Those are the ones I mentioned getting on ebay for about $2 each.
