look under the specials for the month.

I got the 40 pin deal for 65.00 last month. Pins are GORGEOUS. Great quality and stamped with Disney on the back. DD picked out 10 she wants to trade - the rest are gonna stay in the family

Are they all character pins? I just checked out the site, and I didn't see any theme park pins or princess pins. :confused3

Out of curiosity, are they all cloisonne pins or mixed with sedesmas and propins?

thanks

They are propins. No princess or park pins. We got these only as traders but my daughter loved some so much she's keeping them.

Basically what you see on the site is what you get.

I've had 2 friends use this service and the pins in the parks and had absolutely NO problem trading with anyone.

The pins are all new, on cardboard backers and sealed individuallly. The pictures really dont do them justice.

I usually get mine on ebay...I look for a few dealers I usually buy from.

I look for good pins, no Sedema, etc. I usually pay less than $3 a pin. My kids love trading...their laynards are full!!!

Okay, I'm a novice here. What are Sedesma and Propins? :confused3

How can you tell the difference? Is there a marking on the back?

The pins we picked up were lighter, and smaller. (Which some people do like) I didn't care for them, though. Propins have some sort of enamel covering, adn sedesma look like someone painted the picture on tin.

Here is my set of pins I got from them. You can click on one of them to get a larger view.

Leave out the spaces after the www and before the com (can't post urls here, sorry)

Again, the pictures do not do them justice. Colors are vibrant, quality is excellent and you can't beat the price for traders. I wouldnt have bought these except I got to actually see some of the pins my friend has. I won't touch sedesma pins with a 90' cattle prod.

Just to give you an idea from ebay, I won an auction last nite that included 14 pins, 6 buttons, a Disneyland bracelet and a Disney Christmas plate. Winning bid was $21.76 plus postage for a total of $30.11. That's just over $2 per pin not counting the other items also included. We'll be trading them when we go in a couple of weeks.

disneysteve,

That just sounds great for those pins. Beats $2.99 at the outlets. I've only been pin collecting since January and it is very addicting. I need to get a lanyard for my seven year old grandson. He loves dinosaurs and I have three dino pins that he thinks are so cool. I want to give them to him on a lanyard as a gift. I have NEVER done eBay at all. Are there lanyards listed? I could probably get a couple more dino pins, too, for his lanyard.

I also will pay more for "official" Disney pins (usually 2.50-3) because often they are easier to trade off (Propins are starting to choke lanyards) plus I try really hard to only trade pins that others would want (and the CMs arnt internally groaning about getting) and not junk pins

Just when the Disney store pins were diminishing... now there is another lanard killer...

Just my 2 cents

-em

I would love to get some discounted pins before my trip. Does anyone know the phone numbers of those store?

Depending on your trip, Disneyshopping.com has a clearance sale on pins and sets every Feb & August. I got sets of 4-6 pins each for 6.99. Of course I wasn't picky about what the pins were as I was just getting them for my kids to have before we went down to Disney so that they could trade them when we got there. We just got back last week and they had a GREAT time trading pins. Also keep looking down on the ground at Disney, my daughter found 2 pins that someone else lost :-(, so sorry, we just bought a package of backs for them. Also recommend getting the locking backs for the pins your kids want to keep!!

Good idea about the locking backs. We are going to get some on this trip. During our last trip DS 9 lost his Rock n Roller Coaster pin. We never heard it hit the ground. He had a blast trading his pins with the CMs.

We picked up the small Tink trading bag in DL it's great not to lose pins and keeps them from hitting things.I pickup some E-bay and let her buy a cheap one every day to trade. Some times I will buy DD an extra one but she has to trade that one every 2 hours until we leave the park that day.

just bumping as I am getting my kids pins and lanyards for Christmas.

Heard Disney Store are getting some pins. One is a set of four (mickey, minnie, pluto, donald). Sells for 14.50. And Mickey in a Santa suit for 5.50. Stopped in my local disney store today didn't see them. Has Anyone ??
