Where can I get them cheap ahead of time?

Someone obviously didn't know what they were selling.

We stumbled upon these in December. The CM's at the store have been really cool to us both times. In December, they went into the back room to find us some for 2.99 when we were going to pay 3.99. 2 weeks ago they gave my daughter and son a free one each from their stash.
Aside from the characters, the pin trading has been a favorite of my son 9 and daughter 4.
Like you said, the kids love pin trading, and I am starting to get into it too. Thanks for the info!SWVA BGSU Fan said:What is the name of the outlet, and how do you get there? We drove all the way out to the old Belz (now Primus) mall on I-Drive (in horrible traffic) to go to the 2 Disney outlet stores there. Like I said earlier, we were extremely disappointed when we found that the pin prices were the same as in the parks. We're going back in 18 days and I would love to find pins for $2.99.Like you said, the kids love pin trading, and I am starting to get into it too. Thanks for the info!

We've been eating a lot of Rice Krispie treats lately too!daisyduck123 said:You can go buy 3 boxes of certain types of Kellogg's cereals, clip the coupons on the side, & redeem them in Downtown Disney for 1 FREE pin. You get one free pin for every 3 coupons you have. We did this last spring & right now we are saving coupons for our trip in May 2006. I just make a lot of Rice Krispies treats!

There's also a banner at the top of the package that says something like "free Disney Parks Pin" that makes it easier to scan through a rack of them. I've accumulated an embarassing number of batteries in order to stock up on some pins to trade in December!
