Pins on planes?

I wasn't sure where to ask this?

Has anyone taken their Disney pins in their carry-on through security recently? I hate to pack in checked bag as it falls under valuables, but can't imagine if they were taken from DD by TSA!

We throw our pin covered lanyards in our carry-on's and have never had a problem with them going through x-ray or security.

We've taken pins in our carry on every trip and not had a problem. Sometimes TSA will want to see them because of the large mass of metal so we usually keep the pins in ziploc bags at the top.

i bought 350 pins on my last trip.
put them in my carry on and of course, tsa noticed them.
after seeing what the large bags were full of, they laughed....

they will be laughing again when my next trip will have loads more of pins when the dhs logo pins are gone and i come back home with all new logo pins for the renaming of the dhs park.



i absolutely do not understand why i keep buying pins!
i don't trade them, i just like to buy them and keep them in 3 big boxes in my basement

i'm sure when i eventually die, none of my 4 kids would want any of them.

but they are so pretty and a remmberence of what i have been and the places i have enjooyed so much over the yearsl
