I work for a company where we do demonstrations in stores - like passing out food samples. We have different products from different companies every time. Its not like I work for Coke or Kraft or General Mills.
So, when these Pinecone Research things ask if I work in Marketing or Advertising, I never know how to answer. What's your feeling? Do I or don't I work in Marketing or Advertising?
I work about 20 hours a MONTH if I'm lucky enough to get that much work. Its an early bird gets the worm type of job. First person to grab the job listing gets it - if you even want to do it at all.

I would say no. Like you said you're not working there full time and it's not for a major corporation, such as Hill Holiday. So I think I'd lean towards choosing "No" because of these few reasons.

I would say no, because you are not directly coming up with the marketing or advertising concepts. If anything, I would say you are working in food service.

I also recieved my first survey yesterday and filled it out completely, but I never remember seeing how much it paid. How do you all fiqure out the pay for this one?

I was sent a survey like yesterday, went in and I didn't qualify...well I just looked in my e-mail and I have a payment to my PayPal account for $5.00 for doing the survey. Guess you get paid regardless?!? I am no one to complain about $$.
I just finished my first real survey and one of the questions was whether I would be willing to try a sample of the product. Is this just a standard question on all surveys Or if I say yes, will they automatically send me a sample?

My experience has been that this is a standard question. I have been doing PC surveys for a couple of years and I have only had a couple of products to try.

I didn't qualify for the survey and received the $5 payment as well. Is everyone starting to get the email about doing video testing? I'm always so worried these things are a scam. I've been a bit nervous about doing the test.
Did anyone receive an email today from Pinecone regarding video testing? It included a link to click on to test your computer to see if you can receive certain streaming video?
