Pinecone -- Never thought it would happen

Gee wiz....he got the samples almost 2 years ago. I hardly think they give a hoot this late.
Like I said, not trying to flame or be rude, but I know for a fact that a poster on the rewards board here & on other boards posted some info and was booted out of Pinecone for commenting on a past study. On another board I frequent, there were at least a dozen who were kicked out for mentioning past study information. Pinecone is really strict about mentioning products to anyone outside of their studies, that is all I was trying to say.

I agree they are a terrific program and I deposit all those checks into my son's savings account. In a couple of years time I've added over $500 to his small account! :)

Well I appreciate you looking out for us! I did not realize this and now that I have signed up, will be careful about it in the future! :wave2:

I'm not exactly sure how Pinecone works, but if you have a choice you might want to encourage your DH to sign up instead of yourself.

I work for a large market research company (so, no Pinecone for me...) and men are usually kind of hard to get and pretty prized. I would imagine you'd probably get more traffic as a man.

Your mileage may vary, but I thought I'd throw that out there.

I filled the application out last week sometime and I thought the site said that they would contact me in a few days. I was so excited to finally get a pinecone link :cool1: , but now I'm wondering if it will pan out the way I'd hoped since I haven't heard from them.....

After filling out the application, I heard back the next day with my first survey. You may not meet the demographics they're looking for right now. At the bottom in fine print it says your application may or may not be accepted, depending on their current needs. I've applied before and been turned down (at least I assume I was turned down -- I never heard anything). I got lucky this time and must've met some criteria they were searching for.

Just got my first survey today! I was too excited and had to log on right away. But I'm at work, which means I'm on a Mac running Safari as my browser. As a result, I couldn't view everything I needed to be able to complete the survey.

Do you think I'll be able to continue the survey on my home PC tonight or did I just forfeit this one?

Many thanks, again, Cindy's Mom AKA "Queen of Google"!

There have been times I havent been able to totally complete a survey so when I log back into it,it takes me right back to where I left off.
Also,BECAREFUL ABOUT POSTING LINKS.Pinecone has been known to kick people off their panels for doing this.

Has anyone else heard from Pinecone after applying? I applied on 4/7 and have heard nothing. Just curious!

I heard from them (from the link I found last week) and completed my first survey, however have not received the info packet they are supposed to send in the mail.

I got to sign up and have done the first survey. Hope it works out well as this would be a nice addition to my disney fund!!

DH & I do surveys for another company -- they just called me out of the blue one day -- and he gets way more than I do! I guess it's just because he's a guy. He even gets shopping ones, and he does very little of that!

I agree with being careful about posting pinecone links or info. They really are strict!

i joined like 3 weeks ago and already have made $10 off of them. im also waiting for a product to be sent my way to try, with another $5! they are the best survey company im a part of, and im signed up for quite a few.

I do PineCone in the UK and we get paid in £4 luncheon vouchers for each survey.
Not exactly 'hard cash' but they can be used for supermarket shopping or meals out so great ;-)
