pineapple cutter ?

It depends on the size of the pineapple. Big pineapples will have more waste than smaller pineapples. For the convenience of the product though, I think it's worth it. I've nearly cut myself a few times while cutting pineapples the "old fashioned way".

The cutter I have leaves the bottom the the pineapple intact as long as I'm careful. Basically, I'm left with a big pineapple cup. I keep thinking about pouring a nice adult beverage such as a pina colada in that empty shell.

Oh I think I'd like to get this kind. What kind of cutter is it?

THANKS for the tip...I was about to go to Aldi's, but this looks like a great way to cut them. I am going to try some on the grill for the 4th!
