Maybe I am calling by the wrong name, I am refering to the real pineapples that are sent in the mail. They had these a few years ago and dont know if they still do.
I have seen the Coconut Postcards at CBR, too. I think they are kinda expensive- around $15 I think, but it would be funny for someone to open their mailbox and get a big coconut. -Stephanie
LOL! I am a retired postal clerk, and we saw lots of these "postcards" in the mail! Most were sent from Hawaii, though, not WDW! We always liked looking at them, also the letters that look like a message in a bottle, too cute, with a small palm-tree, sand, mini shells, and the letter like parchment rolled up!
I've done this. Someone sent me a coconut in the mail when I was in college, and I thought it was so funny I sent one to another friend. The post office people thought I was crazy. I went to the store and bought a coconut, wrote the address on the outside with a black marker, took the coconut to the post office, they wrapped US priority mail around it, and I paid the postage.
This was 5 years ago. I think I'd be too embarrased to do it now.
