Pin Values

I have a lot of older Pins. Most of them do not have their original packaging, but are lose and have been kept in a container for years.. The bulk were purchased when they first came out.

Can someone point me to where I might be able to sell them? I know about ebay, but I'm concerned that I'll get low balled for some of them. Also, what about values? Is there somewhere I can go to find out what they might be worth?

I always start with ebay.

I also go to www.pinpics.com just to find info on pins. I type the description into the search engine and usually can come close to finding the pin I'm trying to get info on. Sometimes I do have to go to a couple of pages.

It's time consuming but fun to see what pins originally cost and what year they came out on pinpics.com. And no - I'm not affiliated with them in any way. LOL

I second the recommendation about looking at pinpics.com, but it's worth noting that they won't have a resale value listed. I'd say that for most pins, you aren't going to get very much money for them. It's just something to keep in mind as you start to try and sell your collection.

Thanks. I found the site, and it is interesting. It is not likely I have any rare or valuable pins. I do have some that I purchased from Disney Auctions, but the rest all came from the parks.

Disney pins are not something you collect to fund your retirement.

I wasn't trying to fund my retirement. I was curious to see if they had any value or if I should just trash or give them away. If I'm to sell them, I want to make sure I'm not making someone else money due to my lack of knowledge.
