Can adults trade pins with CMs or is it considered only a kid thing? :confused3

I'd really love to start collecting and think that trading would be fun.

thanks!

Hi Kristmay

Yes, adults can trade with Cast Members. The only trading that is restricted to children is when you see a Cast Member with a green lanyard. These are designated as 'children only' lanyards and Cast Members are not allowed to trade with adults off of those lanyards. All others are fair game.

I think you'll love pin trading and will quickly get hooked!!!

Pin trading is great -- we don't have kids, and I've gotten most of my pins through trading with CMs. Like WebmasterJohn said, though, the green lanyards are just for younger kids...but if in doubt, you can always politely ask the CM if they can trade with you, and they can explain the rules. In the three years I've been collecting/trading, I've only ever had one bad experience and literally hundreds of great experiences. It's a great big treasure hunt that even DH is involved with now (in fact, I just purchased a pin to surprise him for our upcoming vacation - I'll put it on his lanyard and see if he notices Minnie as Sidney from Alias :rotfl: ), and a great way to interact with the CMs if you're shy like me and not sure how to strike up conversations with total strangers. Have a great time!!

My son has been trading pins for about the last 6 months, and I didn't realize the green lanyards were kids only. Thanks for the info. :thumbsup2
