Pin Trading Night Event in February

My kids and I love pin trading and figured we'd give the pin event in February a try. We are not super knowledgeable in pins but like our collection and enjoy trading. Any good tips going into an event like this? We get excited just to trade with others when there are people trading at Epcot, this seems like a much larger scale.

Bring whatever pins you want to trade and have fun.

It's really crazy at the DLR one - so many people with high end pins that "look down" on the smaller pins of people starting out, but I hear WDW is better.

Plus you get to see the upcoming pin releases before anyone else.
