Pin Trading in the disney stores

I went to my local store toady couldn't believe that the Lion King pin was only £3 so got 2 of them, I'll get the minie and madame mim pins and another day I can't see them selling nearly as quick

I went to the Oxford Street store yesterday. I bought a couple of new pins and traded 2. The ones I traded for I will keep on my trading lanyard though as there was nothing on their lanyards that I wanted to keep and they had no Disney store pins on it. The lanyard out was not visible in the store though so I had to ask to see it, but the CM's were lovely and found it for me straight away and we chatted about the popularity of UK pin trading for a while (this was at 11am and I was their 3rd trade of the day.)

Haven't been to a Disney store in a while and due to a lack of Internet access haven't been able to post much either but now that I have moved house I'll be able to work on my 2 pin bags and my frame!

The Lion King pin has already sold out in the Manchester store. When I popped in today before work they were all gone, which is a shame because I wanted to buy 2 more to trade at DLRP. I hope everyone else managed to pick up this bargain before their own stores sold out too!

^ it has sold out by Sunday afternoon when I checked to see what was going on their lanyard. Luckily I'd already picked mine up from Liverpool, and they still had them today, so I got another 2, I'm tempted to go and get another 2 tomorrow I'm hoping it would be a worth while investment if my plans to go to a PTN in DLRP later in the year go according to plan.

Wow, this would be great if it happened by me! I was at the store by me on Saturday and did not see any lanyards or pin trading going on. I do know that both of the WDW stores in Orlando Airport do trade. I get most of my CM exclusive pins from there and love it!

I picked up two Lion King pins at the Trafford Centre store yesterday, I didn't see how many they had left though. Lovely pin!

Not much on the trading front in there though, lanyard pretty much full with UK pins, bit disappointing

I went to the Disney Store in Northampton on Saturday and I was hoping to see some of the cast pins but they had none I was hoping to get the present style ones - I will try again in a few weeks time.

I did get a Miss Piggy one and a $10 bill with Donald, DH got a Mickey one from DCL and a Chip and Dale pin where they are wearing YOAMD Mickey ears.

We also bought the Lion King one and the Ltd Ed Donald with the boat.

Just bought the Ursula pin on Friday. I'm glad that this series is finally over, as it'll probably be a while now before I buy more pins. Out of all the upcoming pins listed on the website, the only one I fancy is the Robin Hood one. It's an online exclusive though, so I may just try and resist that one because £8 for a pin + £5 P&P is a bit ridiculous.

I haven't done much trading lately. There just hasn't been much on offer. I think the buzz of pin trading when it first started in the UK has worn off a bit.

I too bought the ursula pin on Friday, then I traded all 5 villains spinner pins with a fellow disser for 5 US LE pins that I wanted.

Pin trading in the Milton Keynes store seems to have really taken off, they had 2 lanyards and neither had any UK pins on. The CM's there seemed really into the trading and were asking me loads of questions about how I have traded in the US and Paris parks.

I bought some of the UK £3 pins to add to my trading bag for when I go to WDW next month so hopefully I will be able to trade something nice for them. I just wish they would bring out the core Tinker Bell that was on the website as a future reliece, but then they removed it. Hopefully it will be out soon though.

I've also picked up the last in the villian series. I've got a few nice pins in Liverpool lately.

I'm hoping to go to Florida next summer, and I've alreay started getting pins (although I've not booked the trip!) I've been thinking that if I managed to get some doubles of the UK cast pins that they'd go down quite well at a pin trading night.

I bought a few more pins yesterday too. I had to buy an extra Mary Poppins and the new Donald Duck pin to send to one of my Amercian friends. They in return are getting me 2 pins from the US disney store that I want. I also recently traded the 5 villains pins with another disser for 5 American LE pins and have traded a few of the other UK LE pins for some really nice LE pins from WDW.

I'm going next weekend hopefully to pick up my last in the series Snow White pin and the new Donald/Chip 'n Dale pin! Oh, and Mary P may have to come home with me too!

I went into the Cambridge store today and bought a G-Force pin and did a trade. The two staff lanyards they had only had UK core pins on it.

I was in York at the weekend I got the Mary Poppins pin on saturday and did a little bit of trading. There was a cast gift box Goofy on their lanyard, as I've already got him I did the very kind thing of leaving him on there in the hopes that someone who is still after him would find him because I left him behind!

The past 3 times I have traded in the Milton Keynes store neither of their pins had any cast lanyard pins on. I was lucky yesterday as I was able to trade for a pin that was on my wants list! They have also started to organise Saturday trading sessions in the shop at 11am every Saturday.

Ooooo...I wonder if they'll be doing this in other stores? That'd be great if they did it in Manchester too! I'll ask when I'm in store at the weekend - hopefully!

My bf got me the Toy Story one, love the aliens on it I want the Chip and Dale limited one that is online only, might order it tomorrow night (I find out if I got a job I interviewed for so it'll either be to celebrate or make me feel better! )
