Pin trading at HH and VB?

Do they do pin trading at HH or VB? Just wmat to know if I need to pack my pins too?

Yes they do pin trading. We weren't on site during the set time, so I brought my DGC to the check in CMs, we waited in line, and then traded with the check in CMs. Then we went to the store, they have pins for trading, and finally to the podium at Shutters. There, the pins to trade are on a life preserver, and the kids thought that was neat!

Very few guests pin trade at HHI, so when a guest does want to pin trade, the CMs are super-cooperative. Occassionally, the front CMs will go in the back room and bring out all the lanyards if you're looking for something specific (like to complete a set). And there are many more CM lanyard pins available at HHI than at WDW, probably because there are fewer people looking for them.

We pin traded at VB in June while checking into Shutters.

Just a quick FYI, everyday at HHI, there is a trivia question posted at the merchantile and you get to choose a pin from their box if you win..I won all 4 days I was there over July 4th week..gave one to my nephews daughter, but kept the others. all are disney trivia of course, some are very challenging..the pins are not your usual trading ones, but they are cute. and yes, you can trade with CM there..I have seen kids doing it often.

Yes, they do pin trading at HH.. there is also a pin book at the front desk that you can do trades with and there is a pin board at the Broad Creek Rentals area - where the lifeguards and activity coordinators will show you for trading.
