Pin trading at Downtown Disney...

Hello!
Lord-willing we are going to Orlando in November, but we are not going to any Disney parks, but we might go to Downtown Disney and I still want to pin trade. Can you pin trade at Downtown Disney? Is it different from the parks?

I'm guessing you mean trade with CM's..... Most of the cm's at downtown disney have pins to trade we were lucky enough to be in the world of disney store when they brought out a trade book and let you make 2 trades from the book. Plus while standing in line we made a trade with someone else waiting.

Yep! There are plenty of CM's with pins and there is a pin board at the Downtown Disney pin trading store and at Guest Relations there. You can also go to any resort gift shop where there will be CM's with lanyards and you can ask to see the pin board or book as well.

As of today the only pin trading tables available are at Epcot. They just came back.

Not sure what the thought is for DTD yet. Everyone is trying from what we have read to request them to be brought back there too, but nothing so far. So you would need to go to Epcot to trade at the tables.

Disney has also been having their pin trading nights every other month this year which is 2 more than last year. We are hoping that they do them once a month for 2013 again like in the past. That really is all most of us can do since the tables are gone for now at DTD. Based on this year, there is a pin trading night this July then there is the annual pin event in September so there should be one for November. Disney has not put that information out yet. So maybe you will be here when that happens. It is usually on a Friday night from 6-9PM at the Contemporary at one of their convention rooms.
