Good morning from Virginia! I have a question about pin releases.
I am trying to buy a few of the limited edition pins, specifically the Easter Egg and Chip and Dale video game pins. I have a buddy in Laguna that can head over to Downtown Disney to pick them up for me; will they sell these pins in the Downtown area, or are they in park only?

They sell them at pin traders in DTD, but as always stock is spread out between all the stores that sell the LE pins.

Thanks, and that is kind of what I thought. I don't want to send him on an Easter Egg hunt for Easter pins that are LE.

When is he planning to go. It’s not uncommon for pins to sell out in 24-48 hours.

I concur that LE pins can sell out pretty quickly, especially ones that have a small edition size or are part of an on-going series.

Also, there are two different Easter Egg pins being released this week. One is for Easter and it's available to everyone. The other is a Donald Duck Easter Egg and it's only available to Passholders. The RR Console comes out next week, so if you wait until then, it's possible that the Easter pin will be sold out.
