Pin Psychosis.....this ever happen to you?

I was never on a quest to do any of the CM Lanyard pins.

I only wanted the Snow White and Nat helped me there!!!

Then I bought a group of pins from someone and the Pooh Train was in it (long before it was THE pin to get). I thought , how cute.....well then the rest of the series on that one started falling in my lap......

But that made sense....Pooh.....LynniethePooh.....so no other Lanyard pins, right?

DS and I were doing CM Lanyard trades at WDW......he loved the Mickey heads.....so of course they are now part of my quest...but they ARE for my child....so that doesn't count......hehehehe

I was making a trade with someone and they REALLY wanted this pin I had.......but they none of my wants on their traders......but they did have the I LOVE MICKEY license plate, and well I do love Mickey and it would just fit with my other Mickey pins.......

but then the Dopey one sort of made it's way to me.......I collected a few more of them, but then decided, about a week ago.......you know what....I don't really need to collect this set.....I am trying to get more focused.......so up they went on my traders........then today I am thinking......it really is a CUTE set.......do I really want to trade it away? Yes , you do. Ummm, no I don't. UMMM YES you do. Ummm NO I don't think I do. FINE then.....you are psychotic.

I want you to stand up and slowly turn completely around noticing everything you see. When you get back to where you started, if you have not seen another person, you are alone. I do that all the time. Of course then you have to explain to everyone who is in the room why you are standing there spinning like a top. If you need some responses for that, let me know I got about a million of them.

I have TOO many themes. And many *just happened*. I try to thin them out, and have -- a little.
Like you I need to get more focused on my collection.
There are some characters or rides I don't care that much about, and I have their pins! (The Pooh train being a prime example!)

Although Goofy is a nice character, I don't care for those pins. Or that many of the Walt's. Some Walt was nice. Some are keepers. But then Walt pins were EVERYWHERE!
I need to go through my Owns and move them to trades.
Of course the downside is we are remodeling part of our lower living level and my binders are boxed in!
I did put a few of my DCL pins up for trade. (Never been on a DCL -- why collect the pins!? ) I traded one today and had to climb over boxes to get to the binder.
I probably could name as many accidental themes as ones I purposely collected.
