PIN - Free Dining... Which Plan?

Hi, y'all!

I was getting all prepped to book with the S/P/D special tomorrow, but tonight I opened my email and a Free Dining PIN was waiting for me!

So I called ASAP and booked the package. The CM, nice as she was, said my PIN wasn't registering for some reason. She said "that's ok, i'll just add the right number."

Okay...

I booked at POR for 8 nights. I booked the Free Dining Plan. I booked 7 day base tickets. My total is $2464.36. SWEET deal.

HOWEVER.

My reservation says:

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside
MYW Pkg + Free Dining PIN
Check In:
Saturday, February 22, 2014
Check Out:
Sunday, March 02, 2014
Room Type:
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside-Standard View
Guests:
2 Adults
Dining Plan:
2014 Quick Service Meals, 2014 Snack, 2014 Two Quick Service Meals per night, 2014 Table Service Meals - Adult

....I notice it says "Two quick Service Meals per Night," right beside Table Service Meals.

Is this something I should be concerned with, have I been booked with the Quick Service Plan by mistake, or does this look correct - I am booked with the Dining Plan (Regular) ?

I would call back now. We were already booked for Feb with the Disney Visa deal but with the pin we got today saved over $300. more!!! My confirmation shows reg DDP.

That exact same thing happened to me. You should receive another email with your detailed reservations. There is state Free TS 1 per night, Free QS 1 per night and Free Snack 1 per night. I called back twice to verify with a CM and on their end it shows that you will have the DDP for free.

The CM that I spoke with was super nice. I never actually asked if I had a PIN. I asked if I could get Free Dining. She confirmed my reservation, than said the magic is working like three times. I might have had a PIN attached to my name, not sure. It's been a week since I got the Free dining and it still hasn't sunk in. I keep going back to my reservation to make sure it's still there.

I would call and see. Can't hurt.

You have the FD pin attached - I wouldn't worry about it much. The descriptions can be a little bit weird there.

Wait for your confirmation email with the link to pull the reservation. That will include exactly what you have and it will say what each person gets. Number of tickets, number of dining credits, etc.

For example, for me it says:

Dining Plan:
2013 Quick Service Meals, 2013 Table Service Meals - Child, 2013 Table Service Meals - Adult

I have 3 adults and 2 Juniors (which are adult meals).

Thanks, everybody! I was on hold too long last night, so I hung up. I was going to try today, but then I remembered... the horror... of first day specials... being on hold....



So I will happily wait to see the reservation that confirms my free DDP.

You eased my mind, and low and behold, when I received my reservation email - it said the exact same thing!

Phew. We *did* get a good deal! I'm psyched! 9 days of POR? 8 nights of eating? 7 days in the parks? OHHH LET THE TRIP REPORTS BEGIN!

We already had our reservation booked when we got a free dining pin code today so applied that and saved $600 on our existing reservation.
