PIN for December 2012. What do you think?

We recently returned from our first trip in December (11-16). We stayed at CSR and had a great time and stayed with Free Dining. We really like Free Dining and would like to take a similar trip this year. I was pricing vacations out for December 2012 the other day and today I got a PIN.

It was for 20% off, see below. Any thoughts on booking now, or waiting for a better PIN or GP discount. I have heard that you are less likely to get additional PINS if you book now. Are Free Dining PINS ever available? We will probably stay value or moderate, with two adults and two children.

I'm looking into booking for 12/12 myself, but from what I have read they are phasing out bouncebacks. I don't know if you'll get much better than 20% if they phase them out! Just my opinion...

Sometimes the special offers Disney gives to the general public are better than 20%off. If you book with the 20% off, if you see something better you can call and ask to be switched.

Just spoke to Disney this morning to get a feel for some prices. CM told me that history has shown free dining and/or room discounts are usually available at the end of November, beginning o December. These codes usually aren't released until the fall . If we book though, they could always be added on later.

Just go the the Disney site and register then order a planning cd or try to price out trips this will get you on the register for pin codes which are special codes that are given randomly for % off of rooms or free dining or sometimes extras hope this answers your questions.Hope you have a Magical Trip!

Well I called on my 20% off PIN and it didn't seem to help all that much. We are looking to go for 7 days this trip. Under value rooms it saved us a little over $100 and on a moderate room it saved us a little over $200. Not quite enough to get me to book a room.

I did find out that the PIN is good for any 2012 travel date and has a book by date of late December 2012, so that gives me no rush in my mind!

Since the resorts don't seem to fill up in early December, when we are going I think I will just wait for a while and see if I can get an early PIN. I know it is fairly likely that there will be a GP free dining offer for December so I will hold off for now.

I really just want to book a trip so I can start planning!

Oh yeah I was still wondering. How often do people see "Free Dining" pins? Any idea how far out they start sending out that type of a pin?
