I keep getting these 40% off room rate codes for Disneyland. Is anyone else receiving them? I understand they are non transferable, but could I book and pay for a family member to go, or would I have to be present at checkin?

Lucky!! That's awesome! I don't think it matters who uses the 40% off room rate. I believe it's just like a coupon code.

So jealous!! I have signed up on the email list, I called and the person on the phone said I wasn't signed up & she'd sign me up... and I still don't get anything from Disneyland, not even an ad! Wish they'd Black Friday that pin code sale to the general public!

From what I've read (no actual experience!) it's only for the person who received it & you have to be present at check-in.

Did you check to see if the rooms are even available?
I got this offer:

Most Sunday–Thursday
nights 1/2–2/2/17.
Book now–2/2/17.
Mention your
Unique Offer Code:

But when I actually tried to find a room there weren't any on consecutive nights. Even the Tues/Wed dates I tried.

I received a 40% discount code for dates in 2017 as well. First time for codes specific to Canadians traveling to Disneyland. Rooms are available for my dates, but still at such a price I am keeping my off-site reservation. Some days I really wonder how people can even afford onsite at all!!

Yes. They were available.

I received one last month and decided to use it for our trip next month....This week I have received TWO more, though! Three 40% coupons in a month and a half! Crazy.

When I booked mine with my 40% off, they wanted to confirm my names, and personal information, so it cant be transferred. It sucks, cause I have received 2 more, and I wish I could give them away....

I see. I thought they were similar to a coupon code, but not if they make you confirm your name and info.

C'mon Disney, spread the wealth! lol

I got one too! I was so excited. We can't stay the whole time but now I'm ending my trip at the DLH :worship:
I believe they said you have to be there at check in or made it seem like it we had a "hard" time because we moved but I called and they did it for us.

When I called and asked about a rate someone else mentioned they got in a Pin Code email, I was told that if they weren't using it and I could get the info from the person I could use the code. Don't know if the person I talked to was mistaken, or if I said the right combination of words to bypass the rules. So it might b worth a try. I didn't actually try to use it though as I had just read about it on here and didn't think I should be asking random strangers for their address and pin codes. lol

So ... how do you get on a mailing list to get these coupons with the pins? :)

I think my husband gets them because we have booked a whole disney vacation package before but I could be totally wrong. I don't get them though only him.

We were APH. We also stayed on several different occasions at Disneyland hotels. We let our APs expire, and haven't been in nearly a year. Maybe they are trying to get us to come back?

I get them for WDW all the time (been there once) but never for the DLR hotels (go every year)!

What's up with that?

Actually since you said that my husbands has been expired for a year almost as well.

Because you go every year. No incentive to give discounts to regular customers. Now if you skip a year or two, they'd probably send you them all the time.

I'm not sure that's correct. We went in September and we received one also so who knows how they decide.
