PIN Code question

Does anyone know if they assign pin codes by address or email or name? The reason why I ask this is because I have heard of people just calling and asking if they have a pin associated with them. For one reason or another I have 2 emails associated with WDW, along with one of my husbands. Would I just tell them my physical address or email or look under my name then my husbands?

I have the same question. I've got multiple email addresses (and a few different phone numbers) signed up so I'd love to know how they check.

Pins are sent via email and regular mail, but in both cases, it is your name/street address that matters the most. For instance, if you get a PIN via email with someone else's name on it, they will not let you use it even though it was sent directly to you. If you call Disney, they will verify your address and look under everyone's name in your party. Good luck!

I've called twice in the past week, but haven't explicitly asked if I have a PIN. Do I need to ask to get one?

It is possible that the CM wouldn't notice it without you specifically saying, "Can you check to see if I have any pins associated with my name and address". Some CMs will look thoroughly at accounts without needing to be asked, but some don't, so it is always a good idea to ask.
