Pin Code Question... booking rooms for others

Hi,

DH, DD23, and I, all received pin codes in our names.

From what I've read here at the Dis, we are allowed to book 3 rooms using one code... is this right? (We've uses codes and discounts before but only needed 1 room when using our codes.)

At this time, I'm not sure how many of our children will be going on our next vacation (2 in college with jobs) but at the most, we would only need 2 rooms.

Friends (family of 2 adults & 4 children) have decided they would like to join us.

Are we allowed to book a room/s for them, using one of our codes?
If so, how does this work?
Does one of our names appear on their reservation or can we put it in their name?
Would my or DH's name be on one of their KTTW cards?

You can book up to 3 rooms per pin code. Your friend's would have a room under their name, but you want to do the booking when you can in and book yours. With that many people going, you are going to be a grand gathering, so be sure and let them know when you call. You will need a deposit for each reservation.

They will link all the ressies together. Right now I've got 3 rooms booked at ASMu for myself & 2 other families on my PIN. We are in a fam suite (sleeps 6) and the others are in standard rooms.

I believe you can even book seperate resorts, but it is easier if you just all stay in the same place.

I have a few more questions in addition to those that were answered above.

Can our stays overlap? Example, I arrived August 28 and stay until September 5. My sister and family arrive September 2 and stay until September 9. Is that possible under the same PIN?

Also, can a PIN be used only once. Example, we book 2 rooms in August/September can I book a room in November on the same PIN?

I do believe that your guest stay has to be at the same hotel you stay at, and it has to be within the days you stay. So in your case you sister can get the discount between September 2 and September 5th, but on her own for the remaining days. At least that is what a CM told me when I called.

I believe you can use the same pin code for numerous trips, as long as you book before the code expires and within the dates allowed.

I called WDW today and got the following answers to my questions.

I am able to book 3 rooms with my PIN code.

Our dates do not have to be identical...they can overlap as long as we are traveling around the same time.

I did forget to ask, and maybe someone knows the answer to this question: Does the 40% off a Deluxe code include the deluxe villas and studios? I was on hold for 23 minutes the first call so I'm trying to avoid a repeat.
