Pin code problem

The last couple of times we have gone to wdw, I have booked my in-laws rooms using my email address. Now I have been getting pin codes to my email address but in my father-in-laws name and address. Unfortunately my father-in-law passed away 4 months ago and my mother-in-law will not be going back to wdw because of health problems. Would I be able to get the pin codes changed to our name and address, since it is my email address?

You will definitely have to fight it. This has happened to me before under my mothers name. I had to call customer relations (I think?) and they actually had me fax in the email printout of the pin code. They ended up honoring it after that.

This always happens to me. The pin code comes to my email address but it says it is not my last name. I am the only adult who has ever booked disney trips as I always took my daughter, who has the same last name as me, and a friend for her. The last time we did this, the kids were 16. She is now 27 and for the life of me, I cannot figure out whose last name the pin is in. I have tried all the minor children we have take, and nothing. After over 30 trips since 2000, and having only taken minor children, one would think the pin would be in my name. Just got one and as I want to take a trip this May, it is very frustrating.

I have a similar problem. I tried to use a PIN code about a year ago that was emailed to my address. But when I put in my name and postal code to try using the code I got errors. I called Disney and for some reason the code was linked to the name of the person who bought my old house (presumably they traveled to Disney after me, using my old address). After 4 people and 1 hour on the phone, a manager decided to let me use the code anyway. I got a call from Disney about 3 weeks later to say they had corrected the problem. But I just received another code email a couple weeks ago and the problem is still there. I doubt it will ever get fixed. Seems like it is a common problem. But frustrating to have to fight for a promotion code.

This happened to me once. I received a pin code via e-mail and I called to use it. They could not find the code attached to my name. I printed out the e-mail and sent it to them and they gave me the discount. I believe it was in my brothers name(same last name) but it did not state his name in the e-mail.

What exactly would an email with a pin code look like? I know to check my spam mail but is the Subject deceiving or tricky? If i opned the email is the dicount information in teeny tiny fine print or will it be like BOOM right in my face? lol Thank you guys!!! :happytv:

It comes from Disney destinations and it's fairly obvious when reading the body of the email.
