Pin code in email for free dining??? Hmmm..just might have to take a little vacation!

I received a pin code in my email 3 weeks ago for free dining... We already have a trip booked for June 2009 with our other sister and her two sons....but it's been THREE YEARS since we've been to WDW and I gotta tell ya...that pin code gave us an itch REAL BAD. So, we talked it over with our husbands(non-disney freaks)
and they both agreed that they could survive without us for 5 days while we take a little vacay down to WDW. So the itch is gettin scratched....woohoo!

So, we contact our travel agent who has been helping us with our June trip. This woman is a GODSEND. She is quick on the emails, has an answer for every question. When we told her we wanted to do a quick getaway...she just said no problem! Let's find you the best deal!

So.....we got 5 days, 4 nights at Port Orleans Riverside. We got really good deals on Southwest Airlines. We have free dining.... this is probably our cheapest vacation and it's at WDW!!!!

Will keep this post updated through out the week and will give a post trip report upon returning. You never know, it's only 6 days until we leave , but disney magic is everywhere!

Just got back from enjoying Free Dining and I gotta tell ya, it ruled! We already booked our bounce back for next year with more free food! Have a great trip, we want reports!

Give a little more info here of the 5 of us going on this unexpected trip.

Me(35) Just call me Brer Bear(all time fav character!) I've been to WDW twice in my life. And those two times were 15 years apart. I have this trip next week and a trip in June....VERY EXCITED!!

My DS (12) Let's call him Grumpy(those of you who have a teenage son...u know what I'm talking about). Grumpy wants to go on this trip, but of course can't act TOO excited!! Grumpy tries to play it cool, but I've caught him smiling a time or two when we talk about leaving next week.

My Sister (38)We'll call her Cinderella(fav char.) I really don't know who's the bigger disney freak...Cinderella or myself. We have sat down and planned out our days to the best of our abilities.

My DNephew (15) We'll call him Malificent(fav char.) HIGHLY EXCITED! He's missing four days of school and is STOKED. Hasn't really sunk in that he will be bringing school work with him to make sure he's not behind when we return.

My DNephew (4) We'll call him Dumplin(that's his nickname). Dumplin is really looking forward to meeting Mickey Mouse. On our last trip, he was only 11 months old. He looks at our pictures and says, "I remember that". Have to wonder...does he???

So now you know more about us. Just everyday people who like visiting the mouse every few years.

Down to 5 days! Grumpy has already received his math homework to do while we are gone...he was SO NOT thrilled about that. Dumplin is getting his pre-k work on Friday. Malificent is trying to avoid the homework issue altogether, so Cinderella has contacted each teacher personally to get his homework. Starting to pack suitcases(yay!!)...

I know you are psyched! The weather should be great, and when we were there a couple of weeks ago, the crowds were awesome. We were at the Magic Kingdom for rope drop and walked right on everything for the whole day.

Cinderella piping up here. We are now down to 3 more sleeps until we leave for WDW. I am almost completely packed for the trip, this is very unusual for me. I am usually trying to cram everything in the suitcases at the last minute.
My sister, Brer Bear, on the other hand is usually the organized one. Maybe she's finally starting to rub off on me. At least for now. Who knows how long that will last.

Just getting more and more excited as the big day approaches.

Down to 2 days... Received our information from our travel agent two days ago....woohoo Our DME info is coming separate...but we had a panic attack because it has not come yet..... Contacted our travel agent...and she told us that if we give our baggage claim ticket to DME, we will be A-OK.... So..panic attack done and over.

Ok...I'm all packed and ready to go!!!!!! Leaving for the airport in and hour and a half....GETTING EXCITED!!!!

Our DME papers never came but our awesome travel agent said to give our baggage claims to DME at the Orlando Airport and we will be FINE AND DANDY!!!

So lookout WDW...we are on our way!!!
