PIN Code - Can I book it for a friend

I am pretty sure the answer is no, but I thought I would confirm.

I have a May PIN code that was emailed to me and I cannot go. Some friends decided to go May 11-18. Is there any way I can make the ressie for them with the PIN code?

I have heard that the answer is no however a friend from work got a post card pin code last year, didn't use it and gave it to another co worker who used it with no problem. The girl who got the original post card did not make the reservation for her, she made it herself.

An update.

I talked with two different CM's tonighta t CRO and both told me that my friends cannot use the PIN code. The only way they could use it is if I were traveling with them and booked two rooms OR if they physically lived with me..... either are not true, so I booked them at rack rate at POP.

Your friends could still try to use the pin code. All they can say is no.
