Pin code booking dates?

I just opened my email to find a discount offer from Disney.....
yahoo.... hope to be able to use it!!!
However..... it only gives me ONE WEEK in order to book it!?

anyone else getting these emails with a "Book By" date of 10/11/10??

but its for stays in March and May through Sept. 2011.

Good Luck. I just got the same email. Sent it to DH saying we are missing it by 3 weeks. We are planning on going October, 2011.

totally NOT a good deal!!!

cost of rack rate on CSR, 8 nights = $1653
cost of 2 regular MYW+PH = 331X2 = $662

TOTAL = $2315

Email offer = $2203

We would NOT use the water park upgrade...... so this is only saving us $115 for the PH option.

OH well..... keep looking for something else..... and hoping for room only discount!

It seems everyone is getting different offers on their Peter Pan PIN. Some have the wishes dessert party, some have exclusions on resort choice. Some have a set number of nights offered. My PIN was for room only 30 and 40% off. dates through to Sept. 2011. And the deadline is 10-11-10, just like you said.

I wish mine would have been for % off on room only. we don't use the water parks.
Actually the girl that helped me when I called was FANTASTIC! she really did everything she could to look for a different deal after I told her we don't do water parks because we have 4 water parks within 45 minutes of our house. (yes, we are in Ohio.... )
I was on the phone for almost an hour.....
but she said the Pin codes are very specific to each household! It's some kind of marketing thing......

Makes me think they are testing what gets people to book a vacation .... especially since the deadline was only a week!!

I dunno what makes the PIN gods happy. All I can tell you is that I was in the disney destinations system from a trip I took in January, we stayed at POP. In April, I started searching on the WDW website for deluxe rates in Sept. 2010, [knowing I would be going in Sept 2011, I just wanted a reference for next year]I never saved any vacation plans, I just surfed the site for months. And BOOM!, I got a PIN for 30% and 40% off room only.
