ok i know some one here told me about a pirates book for pin collecting they found. well im looking on line non stop for it and dang all it shows is pins no pin books would any one be able to push me in the right direction i know this was only a few days ago but i cant find the post lol it got to far down im guessing

They have had one inside Disneyland in the past. I'm not sure if it's the one you're looking for, or if it's even still around. Last time the only pin books I saw were Tink and the generic park one featuring Mickey.

I have seen quite a few of the pirates pin books on ebay. They seem to be going for good prices too. I got my Disneyland pin book from ebay and really like it.

hum i dont do ebay any more but maybe ill look in to it ty if nothing else maybe i can find the excat name or something to look on google better with lol

Jade, that was me. We bought it inside the park along with the Jack Skellington we have. :) I'm pretty sure I saw one when we were there the first weekend of this month.....not 100% though because I wasn't looking for it. Here's what it looks like, if the link works. If not go to ebay and search for pirates pin bag, they are bags not books. There are books but they are like binders.

question how do the bags work? do you un fold them and theres all the pins. i see it holds 250 thats a good amount wouldnt need new one for while lol

Essentially. Mine works more or less like a binder. You open it up and see the pins on each page. I would get one with a zipper as well to keep them from falling out just in case something like that happened.

so im looking at probley 50 for them in less find a sell right?
so there are books and bags or are they all the same lol sorry i have never seen them maybe if i would of went to the pin trading place down town disney i would of lol

The big ones are around $50, though you may be able to find a generic one for $40. Smaller ones run around $20 I think. My first book was actually from WDW and was smaller, but I quickly accumulated enough that I bought a 50th anniversary pin book at Disneyland a couple months later. I'll soon need to get another pin book.

I've seen the books at the Pin Traders store right inside Frontierland, Store Command(right outside Buzz) in Tomorrowland, and I think at Pin Traders in DTD. I also once saw a princess pin book in Once Upon A Time in Fantasyland. They should have the books at just about any pin trading store inside the parks.

wow cant belive never saw them maybe i just didnt know what they were lol ty all i am really lookign forward to getting one we have 4 lanyards full of pins i need to put them some where and after this trip will have more

ok i think i understand the binder part the bag is what im getting confused about. the binders open like books how dose the bag work lol i know im probley getting every one confused sorry

No worries, the binders are 3 ring binders, just like we used in school. They open up and have plastic sheets in them, that's where people put the pins, in the sheets. Kind of similar to trading cards.

The bags are what you want, the pirate and jack bags were about $50, the smaller ones are less. The bags zip up, when you unzip them there are felt "pages" inside with a velcro closure, you can put your pins in there using backs to secure them or you can buy cork and simply push them in, that's how ours are. We bought cork sheets at Target and Wal-Mart, cut them to fit and slid them inside the felt pages, now we simply push our pins into the cork and we never lose them. :) There are 4 pages of felt, you can put pins on both sides. If I remember (and have time) I'll take a picture tonight and post it for you. :) There is a piece of clear plastic between each piece of felt so your pins don't bang against each other and get messed up. The pirate bag also has a small zipper area under the front flap (so does my Jack bag), and there is also a mesh pouch in the bag itself. I have issues posting pics here sometimes so if I can't do it I'll PM you and I can email you the pics.

Mine from the 50th also has a mesh pouch with a zipper inside. I use it to store pincards and I keep my pressed coins in there. I think I only have 2 or 3 of those.

wow ty for all the detail and a pic would be grate when you have time of caurse ty much

I'm going to try to do this this weekend. I'm on my way right now but didn't want you to think I had forgotten about you. :)
