Is there a way to purchase a better pin backing than the little rubber mickey mouse head ones? I was at the Pin Traders store in DTD and bought some "locking pin backings" which come with a tiny allen wrench, but those backings are very impractical out in the field. I was hoping for something in-between -- more secure than the rubber backings but less inconvenient for trading than the locking backings which require a tiny allen wrench.

Any ideas?

There are other rubber pin backs that hold much better than the Mickey ones. If you are interested pm me and I would be happy to send you a few just to see if they would work for you.

Are these available at WDW? If so, do you know where? I bought extras (of the rubber MM heads) last trip. I actually lost one pin on my lanyard at WDW using them though so they do not secure well. Thanks! :)

If you look on this list you will see ones that are No-Key they are like the Mens TieTac backs and work really well. I use to use them on my Motorcycle jackets .

They are carried at many motorcycle shows and shops as well.

I used those on my last trip and they worked great! Never lost a single pin!!! Whenever I traded, I just made a comment to the cm that I was keeping my pin back since it was a special pin back. Worked wonderful!!!
