Pillowcases for signing when is the best time to bring them to GS. I heard first day, but what time is the best. in the afternoon, after we board, or in the evening. Don't want the CM to get mad at us because its not a good time. I sail next weekend Fed 13. :bounce: :bounce: :moped: John

Just off the Wonder 1/30-2/3 and took the pillow cases to guest services soon after we boarded. There was no line and I just handed them to the CM there. She was nether unpleasant nor thrilled about taking them but told me they would be ready for pick up after 10:30pm the last nite. I did check on the time with another CM the next day and she told me 9pm the last nite. I went down the last nite about 9:30 and they were ready. I put each in a its own ziplock with a name and stateroom. Also included different color sharpies and they were used.

Just don't forget to pick them up like I did!! AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

GS seemed ok with our drop off. We dropped them off at a quiet time during the first day of the cruise. Actually, we did mats (the kind that go in picture frames). We put them in a ziplock bag with sharpies and they came back with so many autographs! They look great in the kids room with a picture taken on the cruise. It was a really cool idea that we picked up from the boards.

We did the Eastern Magic on 1/22 and the gentleman at Guest Services was great about taking our pillowcases that I had put character iron ons on to be signed. He had a log and had me sign it and they delivered it to my SR on the last night around 10:30 pm.

We put pillows in them and set them up on our children's beds- the characters had used the different color sharpies that I provided and they looked great!

Thanks Disney for once again going the extra mile! It's probably a great pain for the cast members to sign all that stuff- but it sure made four kids happy!

Was also on the 1/30-2/3 Wonder and I kept forgetting to drop off my things to be signed. I think I finally dropped them off the 2nd night really late. When I walked up to GS there was noone there. After a half minute a CM walked out and I handed her my sealed zip lock bag. I stated I wanted to drop these off to be signed and she looked and saw that I included a card w/our name and SR# and said ok thanks, you can pick them up the last night of the cruise.

Around 11pm the last night we went to get them and they weren't ready, they said they'd be ready in the morning. So on our way to early breakfast I stopped by and got everything. My zip lock bag contained 2 t shirts, 3 picture frame mats and 2 pillowcases. The shirts only had Mickey and Minnie signatures. They also used the color markers I enclosed.
