PIF date

According to my app & confirmation my PIF date is June 2nd.

Last week I've made a breakfast reservation for embarkation day at WDW. I have asked DCL if it was possible to have DCL transportation pick me up at the hotel nearest to the restaurant instead of the hotel where I am staying. In the e-mail reply I've received the CM goes over the procedure and tells me that the costs of the transportation will be added to my total, and she gave me a PIF date of June 6th.
Did she make a mistake, or are there some days between the published PIF date and when the booking actually gets cancelled? I plan to pay in full earlier, but it's good to know.

Other question, I am on the 4 night Fantasy to the Bahamas, is this the first time the Fantasy does a 4-night cruise? I tried to find previous navigators, but couldn't find anything.

What’s your sailing date? It should be 90 days prior.

According to Touringplans cruise tracking tool, August 31, 2020 is Fantasy’s first 4-night Bahamas sailing, so you are right. She hasn’t done it before. PIF should be June 2.

Are you able to do this, or do you have to return to your hotel for your transfer pick up?

According to the CM who answered my e-mail it is possible. We do have to take our own luggage from All Stars to the restaurant (Trattoria), have breakfast and then somewhere between 10:30 - 12:30 (my guess) we can join the bus from Boardwalk Inn. I do have to make the reservation over the phone.

Thanks, we inquired about doing this 5 or 6 years ago and were told no, but things change. How will they let you know when the bus picks up at Boardwalk, or do you just have to be ready at 10:30 and wait?

I still have to call. There were some posts here about long waiting times due to the new summer schedule and people cancelling due to coronavirus. Will call in a week or so and let you know.
