We're gonna have Pumpkin, Sweet Potato 'n Chocolate Pecan pie.

What kind are you havin' for Thanksgivin'?

Pumpkin Mousse, Dutch Apple and Chocolate Cream

I'm just having pumpkin - assuming my tin of Libby's Pumpkin Pie filling arrives in time!

chocolate (homemade pudding)- graham cracker pie- apple pie- pumpkin pie- pecan pie- butterscotch pie.

There will be about 2 dozen of us for dinner!

Pumpkin, apple & lemon.

What other people will bring, not sure. My sister was thinking of making Pecan and haven't heard from my mom. Sounds like we'll have enough pie, think I'll ask her to make chex mix instead!

Pumpkin(hate it), Apple (don't mind it much), Cranberry (love it-but it's not REALLY a pie)

Sounds good uncle - everyone's desserts sound yummy and I can't wait for our family feast :thumbsup2! Our DD is hosting TG dinner for both side of families, so a big crowd. Thus far for dessert: I'm doing pumpkin and apple pies, 15yo DGS's infamous oreo and orange sherbert pie he makes every TG, DD has decided to do pumpkin whoopie pies rather than her pumpkin roll, another DD's will do the eclair cake I love and an applesauce spice cake and DGD's will make asst. cookies. I hope my Mom is up to making her sweet potato pie, it's wonderful! :goodvibes

We're eating at my SIL (woo..hoo) and even though they make fun of my cooking because 23 years ago I used too much prosciutto in a recipe, I agreed to bring desserts. So I'm taking Pumpkin and Apple Butter Pie, Chocolate Pecan Pie ans Apple Caramel Upside Down Cake.

Pumpkin and Pecan. Plus, Red Velvet Cake, Pound Cake, Caramel Cake & Pumpkin Bread. We have 36 people coming to our house!

It was my Grandmother's recipe- it's easy and oh so good! I can give you the recipe if you want!

Well, for Thanksgiving dinner, we will probably only have pumpkin pie, and gingerbread trifle.

However, my family started a tradition about 12 years ago. We meet at my cousins house the night before Thanksgiving for Pie Night. My aunt's (who started this thing) reasoning was that on Thanksgiving, if you've done the dinner right, you are too stuffed to eat the pie until way later. So, we've devoted an entire evening to just the pies.

Last year, with several families there, we had over 30 pies. It's a wonderful night! We cut the pies into tiny slivers, and everyone can eat as much, or as little as they want. Kids are encouraged to try different kinds.

About 5 years ago, I started the tradition with DH's side of the family, and so each year I get 2 pie nights, one on Monday (tomorrow!!!) and one Wednesday.

For tomorrow's pie night I'm making pecan, peppermint pie, derby pie, cherry pie and eggnog pumpkin pie. For Wednesday's pie night I'll be making banana cream, Reeses fudge pie, and another kind.

I can't wait! :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

Excuse me...but we have a request in the house for the apple butter pie recipe. :goodvibes

If you don't mind...
