Do you have to pay for pictures while you are on the cruise or can you wait until later? If so how long? We just visited some friends who bought a ship load of pictures on their trip and I got to wondering if I might end up getting home and refinance the house before ordering pictures.

You pay for Shutter's pictures when you take possesion of them. You can buy discounted packages for given quantities. You can also buy pictures "last minute" before debarkation, and they are sometimes discounted.

Never bought after the cruise, so don't know if it's even offered?

Buy a nice film or digital camera, you'll be glad you did.

They have a few packages.....10 6x8's, 84.95......15 6x8's 129.95......or 20 6x8's 149.95. Or 9.95 per picture. Yes, you pay as you purchase. It's 19.95 for 8x10's and are not part of a package!!!! With our 20 pic package on last weeks Magic we were able to exchange up to 3 of the 20 as the cruise went on. We ended up with only 10 8x10's so I recieved the credit for the difference between the 20 pic package and the 10.

Many times, a cast member will take a picture with your camera at the same time that the ship's photographer is taking one with theirs. You can spend a fortune on pictures, but you can take your own too....

Also, be sure to enter the raffle on the first day. You could win two free portraits.
If you think you can resist temptation, be sure to take advantage of all the photo opportunities because there is no obligation to buy. Of course, when you see them, the temptation becomes very great! Even with as often as we sail, we still usually end up buying the embarkation photo because they change the backdrop and offer different options. We love to compare our many photos from over the years.
