pictures taken by memory maker people

We will probably not purchase memory maker like we have done in the past...but I plan on getting our picture taken just in case and having them do a few with my own camera....for those that have done the same...did they do a good job with your own camera? Take more then one? Is it rude to ask them to do this? Thanks!

I do not think it is rude. I am not sure that it is always the photographers who take the picture with your camera. Sometimes it is the CM that stands with the photographer at character meet and greets. I never thought to ask a photographer that is set up in the street without a character to us my camera. My guess is they will.

The pictures taken by CM's have been some good some bad. About the same as when I take them myself. They are definitely not as concerned with getting the perfect shot as you might be.

My personal opinion of this is that it is fine but to ask for multiple shots when there is a long line can be rude to those waiting. I have seen people pose for shots with the photographer and then start handing multiple cameras to the CM's and photographer and I personally that is taking way too far. Simply because there are others waiting.

We get MM but have them use our camera as well. They are always nice about it. I think they take two sometimes more for us but DD does not always look at the camera always so that could be why as well.
