Pictures of things No Longer Seen at WDW

Can we play guess the year and location? I say Contemporary, 1960's.
Here's a better pic of the original Contemporary Resort beach and 2 pools, borrowed from retrodisneyworld.com. Color is still off, but correctly shows that the pools were blue. The Contemporary Resort opened October 1, 1971, along with Magic Kingdom and the Polynesian Village Resort.

In the 1960s, WDW was all worthless swamp land. LOL

The "old school" version of a Fireworks Cruise:

This is so cool. I wish they still did this for that price..lol

The above were also from May, 2001. I guess they stopped the water flowing while we were on that trip!

Wow the trees in the Magic Kingdom hub looked beautiful. Where they taken down due to blocking the fireworks?

I would love to just walk through MK in the 1970s. The emptiness of the park is so amazing. Working in Tomorrowland in 2013 I saw the park after everyone has left late at night, but it is so weird to see it in the middle of the day with no people.
