I am trying to decide how I want to decorate the WP, which I don't have a huge budget for. I want to get a runner (not through Disney) and sprinkle rose petals along the runner, and want two flower displays for the altar, again, not going through Disney for this. I will have someone from my wedding party set all this up. Through Disney, I want to get some pew decorations. I am thinking bows and/or flowers and swag from pew to pew. I can't find too many pictures that have this done, so if anyone can post some of let me know where to find some that would be a great help. Also, does anyone know about what it would cost to do something like this? Thanks.

I asked my coordinator for pricing on these things, and here are her responses (in pink). HTH!!

1. 8- 3ft columns These rent for $12.50+ per column

2. Chiffon draping for each of the columns. It’s included in the rental of the columns – no extra cost.

3. Ribbon to block the center aisle. At the end of the aisle so guests seat from the outside is free. Swagged between the columns is $150 per ribbon (if she wants double layered ribbons is $300).

4. Chiffon to block the center aisle. Same thing. This is $150.00 for swagging between pews or columns (i.e.: up the aisle)

5. 8 Standing Silver Candelabras with crystals. (Excluding floral, rental only) The candelabras are $125 per pair. The crystals are an extra $50 per candelabra.

6. 5 Table Silver Candelabras with crystals. (Excluding floral, rental only) $65.00 per

I'm using this pic for inspiration as I love this!! I will be doing a ton of rosepetals down the aisle and then the swag but instead of bow I will do feathers:banana:

Did you do the swag yourself? I plan on having someone do it for me, but if so how much tulle did you use for each side?

It was all done by disney floral.....:goodvibes

Thanks so much, this was very helpful.

Just a few questions: So to add swag between the columns it would be $150 each, so $300 total? That seems like a lot! Also, does anyone know, can you bring in your own flower arrangements to put on top of the columns?

It depends on where you are having your reception. Some places require you to use Disney floral, decor, etc. and some places you can use your own vendors or whatever you want. In my case, my reception is at ADH and I MUST use Disney floral, decor, and entertainment, but I can bring in my own photographer.

In the wedding pavilion you can bring in your own floral! We are bringing our own floral, altar arrangements, as well as rose petals and aisle runner. This is cutting SO much money out of the budget!! (More for a Portrait Session!) Other locations you must use Disney floral, so all in all the higher rental cost for the place is actually cheaper when you look more closely at how much you would spend at another ceremony location..depending on what you add in, of course. HTH

we kind of did the same thing but used 2 different ribbons :)

Yes, this is why I'm going to be buying my own tulle at a craft store. My mom has a friend that lives in celebration that does events so we are going to hire her to set up everything that we don't do through disney. Like the WP decorations and the reception center pieces and such.
