Pictures of park gift shops...post them here!

Is it ok to bring food back to the UK in your suitcases from US? That's probably a silly question, but it's my first time in the states :goodvibes

It is rarely a problem to leave a country with an openly available agricultural product. The issue usually lies with the country you are landing in. For example, there are many plants and meats, both live and dried, that the U.S. restricts import of, by either quarantine or total ban.

You can start your search on the UK government site at:

Cheers!

I have a question. If you buy alot of items, will the gift shop mail them home for you? I realize that I would have to pay for the shipping. It would be alot easier that trying to pack them.

My daughter will die when she sees me taking pictures in the shops!! LOL She already thinks I take to any pictures!!!

One last question. Why is it on some the posts it states that "This photo has been moved or deleted" ?

Thanks so much!! I'll be seeing the Mouse in June!!!pirate:

Yes, the gift shops routinely ship things home for you. I think it helps if you tell them when you get up to the cashier because they put a certain form in the register.

When we see that message it could be a bandwidth issue or the poster used an account with an image hosting site that they no longer use.

Have a grreat trip!

To add to the PP's answer, you can always wait until towards the end of your stay to ship your items home (except for parishible items and any pictures that you have purchased from different meals). Just take all the items that you want to be shipped to your resort's gift shop and tell them that you want to ship the items home. They will have you fill out a shipping slip and then it will cost you very little to ship. When we were there a week ago, we shipped about $350.00 worth of things that we purchased throughout our stay and it only cost us like $40 to ship it home (ground UPS). We use this service all the time because it is very convient and easy, and then 8-15 days later all of our items are home safe and sound. Also, I do want to add that they will only ship items that were bought on the Disney property because they have to scan it into the system while doing so.

I saw those 2 weeks ago. I also saw them in MK and at some of the resort gift shops.

You can also buy them online. I love those too! I found them at the DisneyParks shopping section of Disney.com :goodvibes
